Position: Group Tax Compliance & Senior Reporting Manager

Location: Croydon, South London (hybrid 2 days office, 3 days remote)

Type: 6m minimum FTC

Salary: c£90,000 per annum

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Group Tax Compliance & Senior Reporting Manager to oversee our tax accounting and reporting functions. In this role, you will lead critical aspects of our tax operations, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and supporting our global tax strategy. As a key member of our team, you will bring a deep understanding of tax compliance, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of quarterly and annual Group consolidated tax reporting, as well as UK standalone financial statements reporting.
  • Provide support to non-UK teams to fulfil their reporting obligations.
  • Coordinate and deliver UK corporate tax compliance, including tax computations, returns, filings, and responses to HMRC enquiries.
  • Supervise the preparation of the Group’s Country by Country report.
  • Assist in preparing for the implementation of BEPS Pillar 2, working closely with the project lead to introduce new technology solutions and processes.
  • Maintain the group tax risk register and collaborate with regional tax managers to assess potential impacts.
  • Support socialisation and training initiatives related to tax accounting changes.
  • Work with the UK Corporate Tax Manager to maintain the Group Tax cash tax forecast and provide updates to senior management.

Requirements:

  • ACA and CTA qualified.
  • Prior in-house experience preferred.
  • Strong background in UK GAAP or IFRS tax accounting and reporting.
  • Experience leading tax reporting and compliance processes in a multinational environment.
  • Knowledge of tax accounting or compliance technology solutions is advantageous.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, organisational, and communication skills.

There is scope for this role to be covered over 4 days instead of 5 per week if that suits your circumstances.
