Morson are currently recruiting for a Control and Instrumentation Engineer based in Suffolk. Join a leading team in the Nuclear Power Engineering and Technical Services sector, where were seeking a skilled Control and Instrumentation Engineer to bolster our operations. Partnering with a key industry player, youll contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the UKs nuclear fleet.

In this pivotal role, youll become an integral part of our expansive project and engineering division, operating across various sites and stations throughout the UK. Under the guidance of seasoned project engineering management professionals, youll receive comprehensive support and mentorship. This will equip you with the necessary tools and opportunities to elevate your project engineering management prowess, tackling increasingly intricate and sizable projects.

Your primary focus will be within a dynamic client-led team, stationed at a prominent Power Station. While the role predominantly centers around on-site activities, were open to exploring flexible working arrangements to accommodate your needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting site walkdowns
Updating and creating technical documentation and drawings, including CETS, ECs, RAMs, and RFQs
Collaborating with project planners
Facilitating the preparation and planning of plant modifications
Offering technical expertise to troubleshoot various activities and tasks
Qualifications:

Possession of a relevant engineering Degree/HNC/Chartership in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Demonstrated adaptability, with the ability to apply existing skills to new challenges, preferably from a design-oriented background
Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently
A fervent enthusiasm for resolving engineering design issues utilizing CAD software
