Job Title – Estimator
Location – Barrow-in-Furness
Role Type – Permanent

Morson are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity as Estimator to join a leading Facilities Management company that provides mechanical and electrical construction, industrial and energy infrastructure, and facilities services to a diverse range of clients. The role is based in Barrow-in-Furness and offering a competitive salary, plus car allowance, pension, and private healthcare.

Skills and experience:
• Completed education up to HNC/HND Standard or equivalent.
• Possess exceptional management expertise.
• Hold a relevant quantity surveying qualification (preferably at degree level).
• Have experience working in a quantity surveyor capacity.
• Demonstrate relevant experience in estimating within the FM Industry.
• Preferred experience in working within an SFG20 environment.
• Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Key responsibilities include:
• Oversee the bid and resource coordination process, managing both direct and indirect staff.
• Offer innovative solutions to meet client requirements effectively.
• Maintain industry knowledge to stay updated on competitors methodologies.
• Gather information and prepare proposal submissions, including solution and option appraisals for new methods of FM service delivery, identifying viable commercial options.
• Take a proactive approach to continuously improve communications, management procedures, and systems to enhance profitability and operational efficiencies.
• Manage the implementation of best practices through consultation and collaboration with external bodies and other EFS divisions.
• Ensure the implementation of common practices across the division to establish meaningful commercial and operational data.
