Sr. Piping Designer II

Essential Job Duties:
- Essential duties include performing 3D modeling of piping and equipment in a 3D model environment and preparation of drawings/documents for General Arrangements and piping isometrics drawings.
- Selected candidate will assist with coordination of 3D model activities, i.e. input, interference reconciliation, etc. with other physical related disciplines.
- Support with planning and scheduling and prepare/maintain design procedures, standards to provide quality design documents as directed.
- Selected candidate will Interface with stress and pipe support engineers, construction, and suppliers during the preparation of piping designs for the purpose of model/space control, etc. and perform reviews of engineering documents.
- Candidate should possess an advanced knowledge of piping codes such as ASME B31.3 or B31.1.
Basic Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience using in a 3D piping design platform and experience using a 3D isometric extraction program.
- Extensive knowledge & application of ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 codes
Education/experience included:
- AA/AS/Cert with 11 years of related design experience; or 15 years related design experience
