Electrical Project Engineer - Plymouth

Working with a leading UK construction and engineering contractor I am recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team in Devon.

The role provides the opportunity to work on frameworks within the water industry predominately covering projects in both water and wastewater treatment. Reporting to a Project Manager, the Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for day to day running of projects alongside the project team to deliver successful project safely.

Specific duties include:
• Compile and deliver programme updates with Planners,
• Review designs,
• Carry out site checks
• Procure materials for our projects.
• Liaising with the Commercial Team
• Attending client meetings
• Working with the site teams to ensure consistent standards across the project.
• Formulate and develop more efficient project methods

As Electrical Project Engineer your responsibility will be to outline engineering from inception to completion of schemes utilising in-house resources, site installation and construction personnel in order to deliver electrical water industry projects, for example Pumping Stations, Dosing Systems, Chlorination plants & associated civil structures. You will also be responsible for the Health & Safety of yourself and others, encouraging a safe and collaborative working environment that supports my clients Health, Safety and Environment culture.

To be considered for this role you must have a passion for electrical engineering and hold a relevant electrical qualification. Experience in a multi site contractor and/or water industry experience would be beneficial.
