Lead Solution Architect – Service Design

The Lead Solution Architect - Service role reports directly to the Enterprise Architect Lead and operates within the Enterprise Architecture (EA) tower, fostering collaboration with the Service Delivery tower. This position is instrumental in bridging the gap between service design and delivery, ensuring that the architectural vision is translated into tangible service outcomes that align with the broader enterprise objectives.

As the Lead Solution Architect you will be the first dedicated Solution Architect in the Service Delivery function.

What will you be doing?

The Lead Solution Architect – Service Design will play a crucial role in segmenting core service components by conceptualizing, designing, and implementing comprehensive service frameworks.

As the primary Service Architect in this capacity, you will spearhead and propel these initiatives, collaborating extensively with various IT sectors.

Being the sole Service Architect undertaking this task, there will be the freedom to personalise and own the process.

Key skills:

• Ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders.
• Knowledge and experience of Service Integration & Management (SIAM) model operations.
• Knowledge of business ecosystems, Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, predictive analytics and dashboarding.
• Scans emerging technologies and the business ecosystem for major disruptive technology and nontechnology trends (trendspotting) that affect business.

• £71,000 - £85,000 p/a
• Bonus - Performance related bonus of up to 12.5% bonus
