Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? We have an amazing opportunity for you to join our client’s engineering team, where you’ll be working on a diverse portfolio of projects, including those for the prestigious Environment Agency.
About the Client: Our client operates within a bustling and fast-paced business unit, specializing in civil engineering works for various clients. With a focus on engineering maintenance and infrastructure projects, they are dedicated to delivering excellence across civil engineering, E&P, Mechanical & Electrical, and highways frameworks.
The Role: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be an integral part of the commercial team, supporting Commercial Managers and Operational project delivery teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading commercial management across multiple sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Accurate and timely pricing and estimate submissions.
- Resolving pricing issues and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Collaboration with Site Managers to gather project information.
- Effective subcontractor management.
- Change management, contract administration, and final accounting.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or progressive Quantity Surveyor.
- Degree qualification and membership with RICS or ICES, or compensating experience.
- Experience in a contracting environment.
- Multi-disciplinary engineering experience in civils, rail, and M&E projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
