Training Administrator

Training Administrator (construction) - Trafford Park, Manchester - £25k-£35k+benefits - full time role, 9am-5pm Mon-Fri, with some flexibility if required.

Now, we’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Training Administrator to join our growing Health and Safety team.


The Role

As a Training Administrator, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our workforce has the skills, certifications, and support needed to meet the highest standards of safety and excellence. You’ll coordinate training programs, manage compliance records, and be the friendly, organised point of contact for both internal staff and external training providers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all training activities across multiple construction sites and departments and maintain the training matrix

  • Maintain training records and compliance documentation in line with industry standards (e.g. CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid)

  • Schedule and book internal and external training courses

  • Liaise with training providers, managers, and operatives to meet development needs

  • Monitor expiry dates for certifications and ensure renewals are completed in time

  • Provide reports and updates on training status for audits and reviews

  • Support new starters with onboarding and induction documentation

  • Help champion a culture of continuous improvement and learning


What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a training administration or compliance role (construction industry experience desirable)

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience using training or HR systems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team

  • A proactive, can-do attitude
