Mechanical Project Manager – Permanent – Blackburn – circa £65,000 plus benefits

AndersElite are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager on a permanent basis to work for a key client, with the first project being a long-term scheme in Blackburn, Lancashire.

This is a permanent position (available June – July 2025 onwards) and will offer a salary, depending on experience, of approximately £65,000 per annum plus an attractive company benefits package.

The first project is based in Blackburn and is a site-based role, five days per week (Mon-Fri), on a de-carbonisation project.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all elements of the mechanical and electrical works, specifically installing air and water source heat pumps, electrical generators and connecting pre-fabricated plant rooms.

Ideally you will have a mechanical trade and knowledge bias as there will be support from colleagues on electrical elements of the job.

The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the site installation team to deliver the project which is expected to last until March 2026. Following this there will be more projects to manage in the North West area.

This position is available from June 2025, with applications welcome from candidates who are either immediately available or serving a notice period with their current employer.

It is advantageous for candidates to possess a degree / HNC in Building Services or any other technical qualifications, including SMSTS / CSCS for site management, although all applicants will be judged primarily on their previous experience.
