Composite Laminator

Morson Talent are working with numerous leading F1 Teams and suppliers to recruit a Composite Laminator to join their team and contribute to the success of our clients

Location: UK Wide

Hours/Shift: Variety of shifts available including weekdays and nights

Rate: PAYE: £25ph + holiday credit or £30ph Umbrella 

Contract Duration: Initial 3 month contracts

Job Description:

As a Composite Laminator, you will play a critical role in the production of advanced composite components for motorsport/aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare composite materials and moulds for lamination.
• Hand lay-up of pre-preg composite materials.
• Ensure the correct orientation and number of plies for each component.
• Vacuum bag components and check for leaks.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Proven experience as a Composite Laminator within the F1, experience in Stuctual work is a bonus.
• Familiarity with composite materials and processes.
• Proficiency in composite layup techniques and autoclave processes.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, defect-free components.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with high precision in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to work to deadlines
