This is a fixed term (Long term) contract.

 

Type rating and recency on Global Express / BD 700 is essential.

Previous experience working in the Middle East desired.

 

As a B1 & B2 LAE you will be part of a highly motivated and skilled team carrying out:

  • Inspection & Certification of aircraft modifications, repairs, systems, system functions and maintenance tasks across scope of trade.
  • Ensure that all the work performed within the allocated area of responsibility is in compliance with appropriate technical & regulatory requirements and within scope of approvals.
  • Planning of work & supervision of a team to achieve requirements efficiently, on time and to the appropriate standard within the allocated area of responsibility.
     

You will be expected to meet the necessary standard of quality and within the required timescale, complying with all relevant company, regulatory & aircraft procedures (for example, Tool & FOD Control, Safe Systems of Work).

 

Where possible minimise waste of resource. Record bookings correctly. Work co-operatively with team members, contributing constructively and positively to team objectives.

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

 

  • Approved aeronautical apprenticeship or equivalent (level 3). Holds an EASA B1 and B2 Licence with BD700 type rating.
  • Have an Aeronautical apprenticeship and/or military equivalent in avionics and/or electrical systems.
  • Would expect the candidates to demonstrate additional supervisory and QC responsibility
  • Consistent proven application to related tasks within the Aviation Field with a strong positive attitude.
  • Experienced post trade qualification in an aircraft maintenance environment and within trade scope
  • Understanding and experience working within regulated industry (desirable)
  • Awareness of Health and Safety, Fire and Environmental Policies.

 

Additional Information

Due to the nature of our business, all employment is subject to satisfactory references being obtained, attainment of either an MoD SC (Security Check), appropriate UK Criminal Record Check or Foreign Police Check (whichever is applicable depending on duration of UK residency) and, as applicable, a medical assessment. Access to US technical data by employees requires prior Trade Control function approval. Clearance must be carried out against all applicable US export control authorisations.
