Sheet Metal Worker – Aircraft Industry – Burnley

Morson Talent is recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker to join a leading aerospace company in Burnley.

Pay: £18.25ph PAYE
Location: Burnley
Schedule: Monday to Thursday Days (with potential for change of days and to night shift)

Role Overview:
As part of the Sheet Metal Components Team, you’ll be working with materials such as steel, aluminium, and titanium, using engineering drawings, templates, and fixtures to produce high-quality components. You’ll need to mark out, drill, cut to size, and set to tools using both hand techniques and mechanical aids such as guillotines, folders, shrinkers, and forming wheels.

Requirements:
Time-served apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Work OR NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3
Strong practical skills for tool and equipment use
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and visualise finished products
High levels of accuracy, concentration, and attention to detail
