Project Management

Project Management Business Partner

£35 - £37 per hour

Morson are currently recruiting for project management professionals to support the development of widebody aircraft for one of our prestigious Aerospace clients. You will provide project management expertise & promote a project management culture across the organisation. You will be monitoring the controls of the project, supporting an end-to-end project manager. The roles are being offered on 12-month contracts with possibility of extension. We can offer hybrid working with 3 days a week expected on site in Filton as well as occasional further travel.

Our client Is looking for Project Managers or PMO professionals who have experience within Aerospace, Defence or Automotive sectors. You will support a variety of projects, focused around modifications and improvements to be added to developed aircraft. You will be responsible for steering the definition, deployment and monitoring of PM deliverables such as planning, cost risk and opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple development projects.
  • Project Integrated Planning, monitoring and control (schedule, cost, resources)
  • Performance Management, reporting
  • Implement appropriate Project and Programme management (PPM) methods and tools
  • Support the set-up activities for each project.
  • Act as a PM focal point for all of your projects.
  • Ensure the daily application of processes and procedures such as defining, setting-up and managing the project plan, resource plan, risks and ops register, organisation set up, finance monitoring and reporting, including earned value management, maturity gate review preparation and support.
  • Achieve time, cost and performance objective by analysing information to identify any deviations to the project plan.
  • Create and deliver reports on the status of your projects using appropriate indicators and analysis (KPI, Dashboard etc)
  • Support meetings with suppliers, functions and all other relevant stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

  • Solid project management support experience.
  • Risk, opportunity, scheduling and financial control experience.
  • Able to build strong relationships, stake holder management.
  • Work autonomously.
  • Experience in an engineering environment
  • Able to manage budgets, planning, contracts management, risk management.

Desirables

  • Project Manager certification
  • Planisware E7 desired.
  • Knowledge of aircraft development processes
  • Knowledge of digital tools
  • Experience within Aerospace or Defence industries

Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be BPSS cleared or eligible for this level of clearance before starting on site
