Morson Group has once again been shortlisted for the Recruiter Awards, in three categories for 2022!

Triple shortlisting for Morson Group at the annual Recruiter Awards 2022!

Following on from last year’s win in the category of Outstanding Outsourced Recruitment Organisation of the year, Morson has been once again shortlisted in that category, as well we Recruitment Technology Innovations of the Year (Fit For Work) and Large Recruitment Agency of the Year.

Established in 2002, the Recruiter Awards is the UK’s largest event for the entire recruitment community, recognising outstanding achievements by agencies and in-house recruiters, as well as spotlighting the achievements within recruitment marketing and technology.

For Outstanding Outsourced Recruitment Organisation, Morson is up against Espirita, Omni and ResourceBank Recruitment. In the category of Recruitment Technology Innovation of the Year, Bright Network, La Fosse Associates and Sonovate are among the shortlist, with NES Fircroft, Randstad UK and Opus Talent Solutions going head-to-head for the award of Large Recruitment Agency of the Year.

Morson’s submission in this category focused on our three-fold strategy of harnessing technology, quality services and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion to create a strong business proposition.

Always-on EDI conversations

Many forget about the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) within the candidate journey, butED&I conversations are ‘always on’ with our clients, from the implementation phase to every QBR beyond, ensuring what we recommend coincides with their own ED&I commitments.

We’ve adopted technology which can automatically identify and correct gender or ethnicity bias within job adverts and, deployed as an integrated step in our job posting functionality, this facility now spans our c.600 strong client base and litmus tests the neutrality of over 350 job posts before they are advertised on digital platforms. Technology is also used to automatically remove names from CVs to enable greater accessibility to roles for those from various underrepresented backgrounds, and we configure our reporting software to ensure those who are transitioning gender are referred to by their social name in all communications and in official documentation such as pay slips and pension statements.

From our unique strategy to our focus on ED&I at every level in the supply chain, our ability to offer clients and candidates a truly personal and inclusive recruitment journey is exceptional, and is demonstrative of how recruitment should be done. It’s clear why we are the leader in our field, and the reasons why clients and candidates alike place their trust in our experts. We go beyond the scope of services our business offers – not to influence how others in the industry work but to create our own benchmark and point of difference in the sector.

When it comes to candidates, social value and sustainability of skills is where the value of our proposition lies. We leverage our extensive networks and partnerships, to uncover diverse, skilled talent not engaged, or even thought about, by our competitors. We believe that by exploring untapped talent pools, paving the way to employment for those left behind and reimagining skills, we can go some way to providing a solution to the current talent crisis. We’re rethinking traditional talent pipelines by training, upskilling, and retraining, creating routes into work for all. We’re going above and beyond, educating clients, helping hiring managers rethink how and who they hire and take a future proofed, sustainable approach to talent. By combining a personal approach and seamless recruitment journey our candidates and contractors become advocates of Morson, building our network further through recommendation and trust.

The winners will be announced at an awards dinner at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London on Thursday 29th September 2022.
