Our health and wellbeing agenda is built into our DNA, we care for the mind, body and soul of our colleagues.

Our health and wellbeing agenda is wrapped around our internal campaign, MorFit. MorFit was created according to a holistic approach, with ambitious targets set over various components relating to employee wellbeing; from physical and mental health to financial wellbeing and more.

We have a dedicated health, wellbeing and engagement partner whose role is to lead and expand our MorFit strategy to ensure our activities have maximum impact.

MINDFUL EMPLOYER

Morson Group is proud to have signed the Mindful Employer Charter.

The Mindful Employer initiative is aimed at increasing awareness of mental health in the workplace. By signing the Charter, Morson is committed to the recruitment and retention of employees by supporting mental wellbeing at work.

The Charter for Employers who are positive about mental health is a voluntary agreement, seeking to support employers working within the spirit of its positive approach.

WELLBEING

Caring for your mental, physical and financial health

Ensuring broad acceptance of mental health and wellbeing is a Group-wide priority and we have weekly initiatives which care for the wellbeing of our colleagues, foster collaboration and make Morson a great place to work. These include:

  • Virtual and studio fitness classes and yoga

  • Financial wellbeing programmes

  • Virtual after-school activities for children

  • Mental health workshops

Mental Health First Aiders

Our Mental Health First Aiders are individuals who act as reference points to spot mental health triggers within our workforce and take steps to offer assistance and guidance. Any working environment has the potential to exacerbate mental illness and we understand how crucial it is that our people are equipped to spot warning signs of declining mental health.

The campaign, which first began with 20 First Aiders, has swelled to 40, and it’s our goal to reach 80 trained individuals.

MOT health checks

Since 2019 we have brought the health MOT to our people, promoting early detection and facilitating open health discussions by delivering on-site health checks.

The voluntary test includes blood pressure, body fat, visceral fat, body mass index (BMI), bone mass and metabolic rate are all measured by our health testing equipment.

The analysed data is then discussed privately to better understand their health profile, including any identified risks and subsequent actions to be taken.
