Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

£50000.00 - £60000.00 Per annum

Job Duties:

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost and financial management of construction projects, including preparing estimates, monitoring costs, and preparing financial reports. They will also be involved in contract administration, tendering processes, and providing advice on contractual claims.

Required Qualifications:

A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Professional qualifications such as RICS or CIOB accreditation are highly desirable.

Education:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within the construction industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Proficient in relevant software such as CostX or ConQuest.

Preferred Qualifications:

RICS or CIOB accreditation.

Working Conditions:

The Quantity Surveyor will primarily work on construction sites and in office environments. Travel to project sites may be required. Standard working hours with occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
