Electrical Authorised Person

Morson are currently recruiting a Electrical Authorised Person for a long term contract with view to moving to a permanent position based in the West Midlands.

To be responsible for installation, commissioning, operating and maintaining LV electrical Systems and responsible for electrical safety and the issuing and cancelling of Costain LV Electrical Safety Documents. Prior to the appointment of the LV electrical contractor, the AP shall review the LV electrical Contractors proposed Skilled Persons.

An AP may additionally undertake the duties of a SP if they are assessed and appointed to do so by the AE.

To appoint in writing both the clients and contractors SP following an assessment of their competency, for each location under their control as required to install, commission, operate and maintain installations and to implement these ESR. This person shall be a competent electrical engineer, technician or suitably qualified electrician.

18th Edition Wiring Regulations, HND/Degree Qualified in Electrical Engineering, Severn Trent Contractors Senior Authorised Person Certification, Member of IET, workings towards chartered status, Experience with a main contractor working on Water Process Engineering projects
