Process Operator

We have a new opportunity for a full-time PROCESS OPERATOR based in Workington, Cumbria.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Responsibilities will include interfacing with the Team - working effectively in providing an operations service to include plant and equipment operations, housekeeping and import and export.

Delivery of work – Operate plant equipment to ensure production to integrated plans.
Training – Where appropriate.
Customer Interaction – Provision of specified services to internal/external customers to agreed standards, including technical work.

Maintain and increase SQEP levels in order to safely carry out daily duties.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Lifting/slinging.
Crane and Forklift.
Loading/unloading and goods control.
Handyman tasks - Painting, housekeeping etc.
Possibly previous experience as a Fitters or Electricians Mate.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Essential Criteria for Process Worker:
Minimum 3 GCES’s.
Can demonstrate being self-motivated with strong communication skills.
Ability to follow work packs to standard of safety, quality and time.
Can demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
Will need to work outside normal working hours on occasions.

Desirable Criteria for Process Worker:
Has a good knowledge of safe systems.
IOSH working safely.
Driving licence.
Forklift Truck licence.
Overhead Crane licence.
