Senior Contract Manager

Our client Scottish Power are currently looking for a Senior Contract Manager to join their team based in London or Glasgow on a contract basis initially. ideally for this role they are looking for an experienced Contract Manager who has a background with Offshore Wind or Oil and Gas major projects. Main Purpose of Job
Responsible for Contract Management of the EA3 HVDC Converter Stations contract, in support of the Lead
Contract Manager
Key Tasks
• Reviewing and drafting contractual correspondence.
• Maintaining registers of communications in document control system.
• Reviewing and progressing claims and variations including liaison with legal, planning, insurance and other
stakeholders.
• Reviewing and progressing payments to contractor.
• Participation in regular commercial progress meetings.
• General contract administration support as directed by Lead Contract Manager
Key Criteria
Essential
• Experience of Contract Management roles on offshore wind or oil & gas major projects
• Experience of dealing with claims in FIDIC contracts
Desirable
• Experience of Contract Management/administration roles on electrical substation projects
• Experience of preparation for arbitrations
