Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on the behalf of one of our reputable clients based in Yeovil. This is a contract role initially until November 2024.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
- Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
- May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE
- May require a bachelors degree in engineering and related experience and able to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
8-5 Monday to Friday.
