Project Management Officer
£27.68 - £37.02 per hour
Morson are currently recruiting for a PMO within the manufacturing engineering department of a major aerospace manufacturer. You will drive Project Management governance, methods and tools across a complicated production line. We’re ideally looking for someone with a strong understanding of project management principles and stakeholder management within a high level engineering environment.
The role is being offered on a contract basis until the end of 2025, with possibility of extension. It is full time on site in Broughton, across a 35 hour week. We can offer a rate of £27.68 per hour PAYE - £37.02 per hour Umbrella.
Responsibilities:
- Support several projects with appropriate Project & Programme Management structure, governance and practices.
- Work with the manufacturing project leaders & project organisation on a day-to-day basis.
- Promote best practice project management within manufacturing teams by coaching and providing awareness sessions.
- Provide stakeholder management, promoting Agile and acting as Scrum Master for project activities.
- Establish project plans, identifying associated Earned Value Management milestones.
- Driving the Risk & Opportunity Management process.
- Monitor financial expenditure against current planning.
- Defining and delivering relevant KPl’s & dashboards for effective performance management.
Requirements
- Experienced PMO within Manufacturing, Production or Industrial environment.
- Experience of supporting a project leader from project conception through to delivery in a programme management structure.
- IT literate, able to build project plans, track spending and create reports using IT programs.
- Experience of tools and governance in the manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of risk mitigation processes.
- Experience of portfolio management.
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be BPSS cleared or eligible for this level of clearance before starting on site
