Currently, we are involved in a significant infrastructure initiative on the East Coast, focusing on the implementation of cutting-edge technology to meet the UKs climate change and energy policy objectives. This project, with construction set to commence in 2024, plays a pivotal role in our efforts to reduce carbon emissions across the country.

Job Purpose / Overview:
The primary objective of this role is to facilitate the implementation and integration of information management standards, tools, and protocols with primary suppliers. This aligns with our overarching Digitalisation, Data, and Information Management Strategy.

Reporting to the CWP Engineering & Technical Data and Digital Lead, the role involves collaborating with the central Information Management (IM) function, design delivery managers within the CWP scope, and Information Management teams of Tier 1 suppliers. The focus is on establishing consistent practices for information delivery and management throughout the program.

Principal Accountabilities:
• Contribute to the definition of information delivery processes, tools, and guidance material.
• Collaborate with Project Managers (PMs) and other CWP functions to define contract-specific Exchange Information Requirements (EIRs) aligned with central templates.
• Assist in the development and delivery of information management training for PMs and other functions.
• Support the gathering and assessment of business requirements for information management workflows and tools.
• Engage with Tier 1 suppliers to embed EIRs and IM standards and procedures.
• Assist PMs in the rollout of EIRs into Tier 1 contracts and engage with suppliers on information delivery expectations post-contract awards.
• Support the definition and implementation of a Management of Information Delivery Processes (MIDP) platform.
• Collaborate with BIM managers and the central IM team to develop and implement specialist workflows for data deliverables.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience:

• Solid understanding of infrastructure project delivery processes and challenges.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information management and delivery roles on major infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with ISO19650 concepts and principles and practical implementation within project delivery organizations.
• Experience in developing and using MIDP tools and processes.
• Competence in engaging with suppliers on information/deliverables management.
• Familiarity with BIM managers and information managers in developing and implementing specialist workflows.
• Awareness of commercial implications of information requirements.
• Proficient in project management, self-organization, and CDE tools and processes for information delivery within major infrastructure projects.
• Excellent competence in a range of tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and other utility tools.
• Strong communication skills.
