Administrator

We are currently recruiting for an Administrator for our client Scottish Power based in Glasgow City Centre.

This role will be in the Land and Estates team and ideally candidate will come from a financial background.

This would be a contract role until July 2025 and a hybrid role.

The Land & Estates Administrator is responsible for assisting the Land and Estates Department in delivering the professional land and estate management services across the SPR onshore and offshore businesses.

Services include processing of rental and other land related payments, assisting the Department to cover the capture of land from inception to completion of the process in line with project requirements including provision of land referencing, negotiation and legal completion of land rights acquisition, estates management and landowner relationship management.

Accountability Statements
•Utilisation of financial systems particularly SAP & SAP RE to make rental/other payments/invoices and raise PO’s/PAO’s (as required)
•Input into and update of the land management systems as required to ensure all data is kept up to date
•Initiate and arrange for the payment of rents and other estate management sums to ensure adherence with landowner agreements
•Calculation of capitalised and regular rentals/payment, arrange for the payment of same and account for the impact on current and future budgets
•Review, address and escalate as necessary the actions required to be taken to ensure compliance with landowner and other agreements
•Aid and assist Surveyors in carrying out site visits/audits and meeting external stakeholders
•Provide advice as required to the business on the landowner management process and the payment of rents and other sums together with adherence with landowner documents
•Co-ordinate information for and collate reports as required for SPR or wider group
•Carry out prompt and timely management of required registers and databases of information
•Communicate with landowners over rental and other sums and calculation of same.
•Review of landowner agreements and extraction of relevant data
•Aid in the review and reporting of landowner title reports to ensure rights are as required for projects
•Liaison and meetings as required with landowners and/or their appointed representatives
•Provision of information for rating purposes and liaison with rating consultants as required

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
•Appreciation and application of Financial systems including SAP and preferably SAP RE
•Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation, landowners, land agents etc.
•Proactive and responsible management of the landowner database to ensure effective ongoing estate management and landowner relations.
•Use of initiative to resolve issues and ensure the best outcome delivered to the Department, SPR and wider group.
•Adaptive communication style for dealing with third parties, project teams and consultants.
•Inputs into project and board reports and financial models.
•Calculation of landowner payments
•Input into negotiating contractual agreements.
