Project Manager

We have an excellent new opportunity for a PROJECT MANAGER to be based in either Whitehaven in Cumbria, Stockton or Warrington.

The Project Manager will have specific requirement to manage Projects under the Control System Framework.

About the Role:
Developing ‘fit for purpose’ project execution strategies that are commensurate with a portfolio of asset care type work.
Demonstrate strong leadership behaviours to drive timely delivery of an engineering schedule to quality and cost.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in the successful management of the interface between the client team and the integrated delivery team.
Demonstrable experience of delivering early phase scoping activities (requirements management, optioneering etc) and project initiation (execution planning, scope definition, schedule build, estimating, risk management and Asset Investment Form production and presentation) for multi-discipline asset care projects.

Essential Experience:
You will have proven project management experience gained across a range of projects in a multi-disciplinary environment. With a sound understanding of project management principles and application, you will have:
Proven experience in the application of project management processes to effectively manage cost, quality and time.
A good understanding of current health, safety and welfare legislation.
Ability to operate autonomously, with authority, skilled in developing and building relationships.
Ability to manage projects under our control system framework.
Proven ability of working under a range of contract forms.

Essential Qualifications:
Engineering Degree or HNC
