Urenco offers a rare expertise in enriching uranium for the civil nuclear industry. In fact, we are the only company with the capability to do this at four sites across the world.
As a global leader in the production of low carbon energy, we work at the cutting edge of the transition to a sustainable, net zero world.
This transformational vision opens up unique and exciting opportunities to build a dynamic, energising, and rewarding career.
And right now, we’re looking for a Graphic Designer. Based at our Stoke Poges site, you’ll support the Creative Managers in delivering engaging content that meets the expectations of our customers, internal and external, through driving creative excellence and championing Urenco’s brand.
What will your day look like?
- Support the creative process from initial ideas/concepts through to completion. This will include a wide range of internal and external projects including digital channels, events, corporate publications and reports and involve you producing images, film, illustrations, gifs, custom graphics and typography, all aligned to the brand
- Assist with the production of fresh, innovative work. Help translate ideas into compelling experiences for different audiences, showing a personal commitment to improvement and new ideas. Work with commercial, marketing, talent and strategy stakeholders, among others, collaborating on projects from sales collateral to product branding, merchandising and stakeholder experiences.
- Help formalise creative thinking in clear plans with appropriate milestones and contingencies, testing and refining through seeking feedback, and pitching ideas to internal customers to explain campaign approaches and solutions. Ensure plans are delivered on time, escalating issues where necessary
- Be part of multidisciplinary, diverse project teams, both internal and external (including external agencies and contractors), to produce high quality creative material through collaboration, ensuring brand integrity and delivery to deadline.
What do you need to be great at this role?
- BA Hons or equivalent (e.g., apprenticeship) in Graphic Design.
- A creative and strategic thinker.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Experience of using MS Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint to an intermediate level is required
- An understanding and experience of the creation of content across all channels including digital, social media, and print.
- Understanding of film and video production and editing.
- Good presentation skills, capable of instilling confidence and ensuring a good understanding of briefs.
What can you expect from us?
More than just a job, we offer a future. More than just a place to work, we provide an opportunity to prosper. Urenco powers the possibilities that let you make the most of your day to day – and shape your own tomorrow.

We’re well aware that being the best company possible starts with helping you become the best you can be in your career.
We’re also committed to helping you achieve work-life balance. So you can count on us to deliver the personal development resources you need to gain new qualifications, learn new skills, and open new possibilities.
- Annual leave of 27 days per annum.
- A generous bonus scheme based on achievement of personal and company objectives.
- A defined contribution pension scheme: contributions start at 4% (employee) and 10% (employer).
- Hybrid Working Pattern: up to two days working remotely on average per week. Flexible start and finish time and 1.30pm finish on Fridays.
