Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer
Company: Morson Group
Location: Salisbury
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am to 4.45 pm and Friday 8am to 12.30 pm

Morson Group is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for an Instrumentation Engineer to join a world-leading and innovative company based in Salisbury. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, maintain, repair, and upgrade CCM Test Equipment to ensure the accurate testing and measurement of new and existing products against specified limits and requirements
  • Provide technical measurement services to CCM project teams by preparing for, participating in, and operating equipment for on and off-site product trials
  • Perform video image capture using various equipment such as commercial video cameras, High-Speed Video, and Infra-Red Cameras
  • Perform Thermal Image and Radiometric capture using thermal imaging equipment and radiometers
  • Design, build, fault-find, and repair electrical and electronic instrumentation systems, including circuits, both on-site and in the field as necessary
  • Coordinate and conduct the measurement of CCM trials on and off-site, operating Radiometric, Thermal Imaging, and High-Speed Video equipment
  • Utilize various transducers to measure pressures and loads coupled to transient Data Loggers or computers, and operate video recording and analysis equipment
  • Represent the company and interface with external customers and their representatives regarding Test and Instrumentation of company products

Qualifications and Skills:

  •  Experience with ISO9001, TS16949, or similar quality management systems
  •  Prior experience working in a high-hazard environment
  •  Proficiency in electronics and practical electronic assembly skills
  •  Knowledge of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic CAD
