Project Engineer

Morson are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis at Hartlepool power station.

This exciting opportunity involves pivotal responsibilities within our Project Management Resource team, dispersed across various UK sites and stations. Your primary base will be situated within a renowned power station, engaging directly with our esteemed client, although occasional travel within the UK may be necessary.

Your role will revolve around ensuring successful project delivery, reporting to our Operations Manager while being directly accountable to the client. It encompasses comprehensive project management responsibilities, including overseeing assignments from initiation to completion, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and timeliness throughout.

We seek candidates with a proven track record in regulated settings, holding qualifications such as Chartered Engineer status or HND. An SMSTS qualification is essential, while possessing an APMP project management qualification or equivalent, coupled with modern project management expertise, is highly desired.

Your prior experience in adhering to safety, environmental, and quality standards will be invaluable, as youll be tasked with overseeing engineering documentation, quality plans, technical specifications, and contractor selection processes. Managing technical queries and conducting feasibility studies will be part of your routine, requiring seamless collaboration with designers and station engineering staff.
