Commercial Plumber / Mechanical engineer

Morson are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Plumber, to join one of the country’s leading Building Maintenance companies, on a long-term contract basis. This role would be ideal for a Mechanical Maintenance engineer, or an experienced Plumber and you would be involved in all sites planned and reactive maintenance. PLEASE NOTE MUST HAVE EXPERENCE WORKING WITHIN CORPROATE ORGANISATIONS OR FACILTTIES AND NOT LOOKING FOR DOMESTIC / PRIVATE PLUMBERS FOR THIS ROLE.

Duties:

• To carry out maintenance, fault finding and repair on all building services and systems as directed by the Technical Supervisor.
• Plumbing Duties
• PPM’s and Reactive maintenance
• Water Flushing / water treatment - not essential
• Cooling Towers – not essential
• Dealing with leaks and replacing broken taps etc
• Toilet checks
• Overall general maintenance

Must have Commercial Plumbing experience for this role.

Skills required for the Plumber / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Essential   - Level 2 OR LEVEL 3 City & Guilds in Mechanical engineering or City & Guilds / NVQ level 2 in Plumbing

Hourly rate – up to £30 umbrella, depending on experience.

Contract role - 3 to 4 months but could go on for longer.

Hours – 7am - 4pm or 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Overtime also available at good rates.
