Project Manager (High Rise Recladding/Façade)

Rate: £375-£425 per day (no cis)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with an impeccable portfolio of façade works to oversee several external works on a mid to high rise occupied building in Old Trafford. Proven and recent experience with EWS1s is imperative. Ideally you would have overseen projects more than £5m and successfully managed curtain wall, cladding, façade works on major projects possessing a thorough understanding of PCSAs.

The project is anticipated to last beyond 2 years giving ample confidence in your next contract tenure. Consideration will be given for impeccable and outstanding customer service as you will inevitably engage with residents frequently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the operational activities, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standard, within budget and on schedule.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring their work is of high quality and meets project specifications.
• Ensure there is a through implementation of Health & safety.
• Ensure effective communication between all stakeholders on the project, including the client, design team, and other contractors.
• Attend and contribute to regular site meetings, including weekly progress meetings.

Requirements:
• Degree qualification or equivalent in Construction.
• 5 years’ experience working as a Project Manager for a main contractor. essential
• Previous experience overseeing external works on high rise buildings such as cladding, façade, curtain wall. essential
• Tier 1 main contractor experience. bonus
• Understanding and in-depth knowledge of PCSAs
• Experienced with utilisation and implementation of EWS1s. essential
• Previous experience working in a live environment/occupied building.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a first-class presentation.
• Valid and in date SMSTS/SSSTS, Black CSCS Card and First Aid
