We are recruiting an Electrical/ Mechanical and Trim design engineer for one of our automotive clients based in Cranfield.
You will be working for a globally recognised automotive company. This is a long-term contract role. The contract is on an ongoing basis a may run for several years.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrical/ Mechanical and Trim design engineer:

• Development of Accessories across multiple disciplines.
• Electrical/ Mechanical and Trim [Flexibility is desired]
• Confirm fitment and application of accessories with vehicles.
• Ensure development meets technical, cost and timing target.
• Supporting accessories adoption for SV (Special Versions) vehicles
• Support market / quality enquires where applicable
• Complete successfully design reviews at various stages of development.
• On time delivery of accessories against key milestones

Qualifications & Experience for the Electrical/ Mechanical and Trim Design Engineer:

• Bachelor Honours degree in Engineering
• Min 3 Years Automotive OEM and/or (relevant) supplier experience
CAD skill (preferably NX)
• Cross functional approach and team player.

Hours & Pay for the Electrical/ Mechanical and Trim Design Engineer:

• Monday to Friday
• 39 hours per week
• £27.00p/h
