Project Management Business Partner

£26.48 - £35.03 per hour

Morson are currently recruiting for project management professionals to support the development of a new family of aircraft for one of our prestigious Aerospace clients. You will provide project management expertise & support for an area of the business strengthens the competitiveness of the fleet. The roles are being offered on contracts until the end of the year with possibility of extension. These are hybrid roles with 3 days a week expected on site in Filton as well as occasional further travel.

Our client Is looking for Project Managers or PMO professionals who have experience within Aerospace, Defence or Automotive sectors. You will support a variety of projects, all of which have a commercial element so the ability to understand stakeholders within purchasing airlines will be key. You will support the transition into the digital age by bridging the gap between the current way of working and an agile, flexible and anticipating collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple development projects.
• Cooperate with project leaders, to animate a transnational stakeholder network
• You will be in charge of providing transversal project management support to the project.
• Project gate and review preparation
• Project Integrated Planning, monitoring and control (schedule, cost, resources)
• Project Risks and opportunities identification, consolidation and follow-up
• Performance Management, reporting

Essential Requirements

• Experience within a project management role
• Build strong relationships, stake holder management
• Work autonomously, strong skills to structure the project
• Have an understanding of business acumen and program management
• Experience in an engineering environment
• Able to manage budgets, planning, contracts management, risk management

Desirables

• Knowledge of aircraft development processes
• Knowledge of digital tools
• Experience within Aerospace or Defence industries

Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be BPSS cleared or eligible for this level of clearance before starting on site
