And right now, we’re looking for an Office Manager. Based at our Birchwood site location you will be central in ensuring that the office remains an inviting and stimulating work environment. The successful candidate will have ideally had previous similar experience in an office environment serving c100 persons where maintaining high standards is the order of the day.
What will your day look like?
- Oversee and effectively manage daily office operations:
- Uphold a safe and secure working environment, overseeing the induction process for new employees and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.
- Act as the primary liaison with the landlord and facilities management company to address any facility-related concerns promptly Maintain accountability for the building asset register, ensuring maintenance aligns with statutory requirements through collaboration with a facilities management company
- Responsible for managing the office budget and expenses efficiently.
- Enhance office efficiency by strategically planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and procuring necessary equipment
- Ensure the office environment is well-maintained and arranging necessary repairs as required.
- Provide supervision and guidance to office staff, ensuring sufficient coverage to manage absences and fluctuations in workload effectively.

- Manage administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and record-keeping to ensure organizational efficiency.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and assist with travel arrangements as needed.
What do you need to be great at this role?
- Proficient in English with strong grasp of spelling and grammar, holding at least a GCSE ‘C’ grade or higher.
- Demonstrated administrative ability with meticulous attention to detail and adept at prioritising tasks efficiently
- Exemplary phone etiquette and exceptional communication abilities.
- Proven experience in supervising and leading teams effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Keen eye for detail, particularly in document management, formatting, and control.
