Payroll Project Technical Lead; Crawley with Travel Globally; 12 month contract; Rate to be discussed

Overview of profile required:
* Technical Lead with experience of delivering projects and solutions, preferably within the context of a global deployment framework
* Experience with Workday (HCM/Compensation/Absence Management)
* Resilient and organised individual with excellent communication skills
* Able to cooperate with and guide multiple local resources (technical/non-technical and payroll) to deliver solutions on time
* Able to identify and translate local business requirements into configurable items within the global framework
* Experience of delivering payroll solutions is desirable

Tasks will include:
Working with the local teams and NGA and TPV Project Leads in completing project activities while maintaining the project timeline

SIT and UAT entry/exit, Parallel Runs entry/exit, Go-live go/no-go

Day to day progress tracking and task allocation with focus on local teams and company led tasks
Identifying and capturing local and global requirements by writing a Business Requirements Document
Working together with Global HRIS team and local team to expand use of Workday
Absence Management
Tracking and assisting local team in TPV payroll design activities
Wage Type Catalogue
Country Solution Workbook
Integration mapping
Data Migration - manage and assist local teams in migration of local and global data
Escalation of issues to Payroll Project management
Change management - co-ordination of communications within Thales local teams to ensure local teams are able to initiate local change management activities
Hand over to run - assisting and ensuring local country operations are able to accept ownership of the system based on training, processes and resources put in place
