My client is actively looking for a Configuration Analyst to be responsible to support global HRIS with configuration of the workday system.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Liaise and lead interactive discussions regarding requirements with key stakeholders to understand their technology needs
  • Support release management activites as needed, including platform optimization/new functionality adoption analysis
  • Understand, document and communicate impact of configuration changes
  • Work with continuous improvement manager to ensure all HR related content including processes, policies, guidelines, FAQs SOPs and other HR information needed to support HR activites is upto date with configuration changes
  • Develops test cases recommended for configuration changes
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine appropriate action plan for break/fix including impacted employees/users/data clean-up
  • Utilize business knowledge to identify areas of systems imporvement opportunity and submits proposals for analysis that lead to recommendations of systems improvements
  • Serves as an escalation point to lower tier support

Qualifications / Experience Required

  • 2+ years' Workday configuration experience with a general understanding of all workday modules
  • Prior Workday Functional COnsultant certification in HCM core and one additional module would be preferred
  • Experience in the development and implementation of process and system changes
  • Broad operational experience in HR, Payroll, and HRIS a plus

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users
