Work Package Manager required to deliver results on a programme by helping the team to perform and deliver on schedule and on budget.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have been an Engineering Manager within the defence industry who has moved into Work Package Management.
Work Package Management and Technical / Systems Engineering experience required.
The role involves the execution and delivery of assigned Work Packages and tasks to budget and schedule on Projects or Bids.
Some or all of the following is required:
Attention to detail and rigorous reviewing skills
Good organisational and planning skills
Concise verbal communication and presentation skills in the English language
Team player (working closely with Customers, Thales stakeholders and partners/suppliers)
Ability to analyse and combine data from various sources and to comment / report on them
Able to proficiently interpret customer requirements and design cost-effective technical solutions, and communicate ideas clearly (written and oral)
Able to generate or initiate innovative solutions to complex problems
Able to accurately estimate and produce project and technical plans / specifications (cost/time)
Able to contribute to technical solution and implementation of the system design
Demonstrates commercial awareness in the technical domain
Prepared to go the extra mile when complex tasks need to be completed quickly
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance.
