Morson International are currently supporting one of the JV partners delivering a section of HS2 in their search for a Utilities Engineer (and Permits) on a permanent basis. The role will initially be based at Euston (circa 12 months), and then will move to the area of Uxbridge thereafter.

The Utilities Engineer (and Permits) will be responsible for monitoring the successful delivery of all Stats diversions and new installations. They will also manage trial holes, permit- to-digs and service records for the project.

This will include accurate as built drawings are communicated to the designers and updated on the main construction drawings, ensuring utilities contractors are attending site meetings and all self-delivered works have approved RAMS and ITP's in place prior to works commencing.

It is required that you are competent at Genny & CAT scanning to support engineers with service detection, including mentoring to improve scanning techniques on site.

You will possess your SMSTS and previous experience working on site, with a basic knowledge of all utilities is all but essential. It is also desirable to have either an IOSH, EUSR or NVQ Level 2 utilities related qualification.
