Treasury Analyst: Permanent: Dublin based with hybrid working available: Paying £50,000 / 58,746.50 Euro + Benefits

Morson are partnering with our global infrastructure client to assist in their search for an experienced Treasury Analyst.

This role would suit someone with experience in a comparable environment and who is looking to gain further exposure in a fast paced and busy treasury team. You will gain valuable experience and interaction with management as well as considerable opportunity to develop your career within the treasury team.

The Treasury Analyst will report to the Treasury Senior Manager and will work in a small team to support the Corporate Treasury teams in Dublin and the UK to drive the execution and optimization of key functions including:

  • Global cash and liquidity management
  • Global netting and intercompany debt management
  • Risk management (primarily foreign exchange risks – identification, reporting and settlement)
  • Bonding – advance, performance, retention and financial bonds
  • Monitoring, supporting and managing loan and credit facilities
  • Sarbanes Oxley and process controls
  • Cash forecasting & funding
  • Bank relationship management

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the management of the Group’s foreign currency exposure including the reporting of foreign currency trading
  • Monitoring banking and trading counter party exposures, analysing credit risk factors and producing related management information
  • Drive process improvement between Treasury and operations to enhance cash management capabilities, improve risk profile and lower costs
  • Responsible for global netting platform and reporting
  • Support SOX and process controls for Treasury and Accounting team
  • Responsible for day-to-day transactional needs of global operations, including transfer of funds, issuance and reporting of letters of credit and bank guarantees
  • Responsible for domestic and foreign cash and bank account structure, supporting consolidation and cash pooling efforts to improve liquidity and lower transaction fees

To be considered for this role, previous experience of working in a Treasury role is essential with hands on experience gained from a banking or accounting background. A degree in finance, economics or accounting is highly desirable as well as the below skills/attributes:

  • Strong analytical, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A good team player with enthusiasm and an appetite to learn and develop
  • Have a strong interest in financial markets and Corporate Treasury Management
  • Proactive approach and strong ability to own and serve as lead expert on initiatives, where appropriate
  • Flexible, self-starter with experience working in fast paced environment
  • Experience working for a large global multinational corporate within treasury function
