Our client a leading Oil & Gas Operator are seeking a Treasury Accountant for a Staff role based in Aberdeen.
Permanent / Staff Position
Salary: circa £40k plus benefits
The position will be responsible for the active maintenance of treasury management activities for the joint venture including cash management, cash forecasting and FX trading.
The position will support the joint venture's end to end Decommissioning Security Agreement Letter of Credit (LOC) process ensuring that all obligations are met within the required framework and that all required securities are posted in a timely fashion.
Working with the Letter of Credit and Treasury Advisor, the position will be a focal point for Insurance activities and provide input and analysis in support of the provision of Insurance services.
This role would suit an entry-level professional.
As a key position in the Corporate Reporting & Treasury team, this role will support the Corporate Reporting and Treasury Lead and the Letter of Credit and Treasury Advisor. The role will provide analytical analysis and support across a range of Treasury accountabilities to a wide range of stakeholders.
Education Attainment & Accreditation
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
Professional Skills and Experience
Experience in an oil and gas environment preferred but not essential
Proven experience in a fast-paced environment
Proven track record of working well in a team environment
Strong aptitude for numbers and analysis including Excel modelling
