JOB DESCRIPTION Key Purpose Statement The incumbent is primarily responsible for the following: * Supporting the Head of PMO and key business stakeholders to deliver global elements of the GBS programme plan on time and budget, with high customer satisfaction

* Managing the GBS regional programme deliverables per stream allocated

* Facilitating the sharing of GBS lessons, sample deliverables and best practices across workstreams (Cross region and function)

2. Key Dimensions The key dimension s of this job are as follows:

Scope Reports functionally to the Head of Transformation and PMO. Effective engagement and management of GBS transformation stream and project management activities as outlined in the Key Purpose Statement section. Organisational Scope Internal Interactions: Finance Team, GBS Team members and stakeholders, regional/country level GBS teams, Enterprise PMO. External Interactions: RPO Provider and Advisors Strategic/Operational Scope Strategic: GBS strategy aligned with the recommendations of Project Operational: Ensuring effective project management of elements of the global and regional GBS programme. Managing the programme management office for allocated streams Scope: Business process outsourcing and captive shared services for Finance, limited HR, EAs, Project Accounting and other area of business as outlined by the project plan Planning Planning and maintaining project plan. Making sure that solutions implemented scalable

3. Outputs and Accountabilities

* Manage the GBS regions streams of the programme management office: * Design, implement and manage status reporting process for GBS workstreams * Develop, maintain and report progress against the programme plan * Understand GBS Workstreams and in-flight project priorities, plans and ensure alignment to global programme plan * Understand the GBS strategy and align the plan to the strategy * Lead the finalisation and implementation of standard global GBS issue, dependency, risk and action logs * Identify, track and facilitate resolution of global programme issues * Provide programme management support to GBS workstreams * Escalate programme issues to Head of Transformation as required * Support Head of Transformation to: * Deliver elements of programme plan on time and budget, with high customer satisfaction * Manage programme to cost and time targets * Manage programme risks * Lead (working with GBS core team, working group and consult
ing partners) the finalisation and implementation of a standard stage gate methodology and associated deliverables responsibility matrix to GBSworkstreams * Train GBSworkstreams on agreed methodology * Ensure consistent adherence to transition methodologies across workstreams * Provide support to programme assurance team * Lead (working with GBS core team, working group and consulting partners) the finalisation and implementation of a consistent global governance framework to GBSworkstreams * Provide support to Head of Transformation in preparing updates for various governance forums * Attend regional governance forums and assist with the documentation and distribution of minutes for these meetings * Design, implement and manage a GBS global collaboration room for the sharing of methodology information, templates, completed deliverables and project control documents * Facilitate the sharing of GBS lessons, sample deliverables and best practices across workstreams * Develop strong partnership with other workstreamPMO leads * Liaise with Enterprise PMO to ensure alignment, appropriate use of Enterprise PMO templates and adherence to Enterprise PMO status reporting and deliverable submission requirements by GBS * Conduct workshops/forums as necessary to share programme excellence within GBS

4. Competence Requirements 4.1 Knowledge and Experience Required

* 5+ years experience working in a Finance Shared Services environment (other scope such as HR or Procurement would be advantageous but not required) * 5+ Years relevant experience in programme and project management * Familiar with project management methodology. Prince2 and/or MSP certification preferred * Experience leading a diverse project team in a complex multi-stakeholder environment * Experience leading a virtual cross country team in a federated organisation * Experience leading and working with individuals and teams from diverse cultures * Degree educated preferred
