Job Role & Responsibilities
To work as an integrated member of the existing training team to support the Training Team Vision Becoming recognised as a training team that inspires trainers and learners by developing easily accessible training products for Operations and Maintenance personnel by:
*Work with Training Developers to produce end user focused material/portals.
*Working within the security remits of the Sellafield Site.
*Writing code that is easy to understand.
*Ensuring code is robust enough to work under all use and edge cases it will run under.
*Working as closely to the project requirements without over-engineering and going beyond the scope of the brief.
*Communicate effectively with different departments.
*Meet agreed deadlines for projects.
Qualifications and Comments
Educational Professional Qualifications Required
*Strong editorial design is essential to make text heavy pages accessible and engaging.
*Ability to work alone, in a team, with remote teams.
*Previous experience of developing training packages/websites/learning management systems.
*Willing to travel to Sellafield Site.
*Creative with attention to detail.
*An interest in Learning Technologies.
*Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor other designers.
*The ability to obtain BPSS and a P4 pass is essential for continuance in the role.
*Knowledge Application of Web Server technologies e.g. J2EE, HTML5/CSS.
*Experience of CMS/LMS development, deployment, and maintenance.
*Experience of System and Data Analysis to create Visual Reports e.g. server load, visitor history/statistics.
*Experience of developing engaging Training products using a variety of media packages such as Captivate, Smart builder, InDesign, Photoshop.
