The job holder will undertake a range of administrative and clerical duties within the Part 147 training organisation.
This is a position for an experienced administrator with a detailed understanding of the systems, processes, procedures and their importance within the general operation of the department.

The administrator will typically have experience in a clerical environment. The role holder may be required to carry out additional or alternative tasks from time to time, subject to holding the appropriate qualifications. Functional Knowledge and some experience in a clerical role within the business support function would be beneficial. The job holder must have good knowledge of Microsoft office software, with a comprehensive capability to utilise the Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You will be required to carry out assigned task as directed by your line manager.

The job holder should have a good knowledge of a range of work routines, procedures and systems across their area of Business Expertise. Requires a basic knowledge of the area in which the role operates. Understands how the area collectively works together in order to meet their objectives
The role holder needs to understand the roles of others in their immediate team in order to help carry out their role effectively and efficiently. The role has no supervisory responsibilities but will need to manage your own workload and quality of own work only. Be able to priorities their workload in order to meet the necessary timescales, deadlines as per tasks assigned.
The job follows defined guidelines to make straightforward judgements and the job holder will be required to fully understand the procedures in place and be confident in solving any issues within the relevant procedures to ensure that the output is within the scope of the relevant procedures.

The job holder requires Good communication skills, an ability to provide exchanges of information on a regular basis. You will need to be able to confidently liaise with what can sometimes be difficult contacts in a robust but respectful manner.
