We are currently in an exciting period of sustained growth, and as the business continues to expand, our requirement for new talent is growing. As a result we are now recruiting for a Trainee Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition team. Working as part of a small, close-knit team, this role will be responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition Partner and Coordinator in delivering the internal recruitment needs for the entire UK business.
Initially this role will be responsible for the administration of the talent acquisition process - writing job descriptions based on briefs from hiring managers; advertising roles across a range of channels; creating candidate shortlists; arranging interviews; and processing offer paperwork. Responsibilities will also include managing the talent team social media platforms. This role has a defined progression plan, with the intention after training for the successful candidate to be involved in all other aspects of talent acquisition, including carrying out telephone screening and face-to-face interviewing of candidates; attending stakeholder and recruitment planning meetings; proactive talent searching; assisting with long-term talent acquisition strategy; and attending job fairs and external events.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic with a positive attitude, has great communication skills (written, telephone, and face-to-face) and is able to quickly build up a good rapport with people of all levels inside and outside of the business. Ability to manage a large workload with excellent attention to detail is essential. This is a perfect role for a graduate or sixth-form/college leaver looking to make their first step into the world of talent and recruitment. Some previous experience in an administrative or customer service role would be ideal.
