Responsible for the day to day administration of the Terminal acting as lifting co-ordinator on behalf of all terminal equity stock holders. Co-ordinates the marketing supply operations of client's North Sea equity production & the associated crude oil & LPG sales contract administration & financial reporting. Focal point for all price data management.
Formulate and communicate terminal availabilities and lifting program.
Maintain crude inventories at terminal to avoid shut-in or demurrage claims.
Keep abreast with all operational and maintenance activities at the terminal as they affect the offtake program
Spot and Term contract management
Maintenance of all pricing data and primary responsibility for marketing reporting
Provide assistance to wider commercial as required
Designated coverage for other roles in the Marketing team, primarily Gas Delivery, Supply Operations and Equity Ops Coordinator
Allocate product and co-ordinate liftings in accordance with the terminal Offtake Scheduling and Terminal procedures, always in a fair and equitable manner, maintaining the confidentiality of respective system users.
Represent the Company at a high level and present at Partner and System Users meetings.
Maintain inventories to ensure adequate ullage is available, with due regard to ship ETA's, weather and offshore production levels in order to maintain an orderly programme to avoid shut-in or risk curtailment in production.
Formulate an acceptable offtake lifting programme and be accountable to all system users for overall programming.
Ensure that crude oil is lifted within the constraints of production and storage facilities.
Liaise with appropriate terminal staff with regard to acceptability of tankers, maintenance programmes, outages, etc. which may require shipping windows.
Maintain record of all delays to shipping. Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and resolve any demurrage and/ or cargo loss claims.
Maintain historical data of lifting's and provide information to assist in crude oil allocation and hydrocarbon accounting systems.
Negotiates the resolution of disputed matters arising from existing commercial agreements. Input to and drafts amendments to commercial agreements.
Monitors production availability & entitlement ensuring all pipeline, field and vessel nominations are completed promptly and in accordance with system transportation, processing arrangements and departmental procedures for assets.
Executes and is responsible for asset contracts, administration, cargo pricing through to invoicing of all sale and purchase volumes with Legal, Accounts, Finance & Customers, liaising with Treasury on credit and payment details as appropriate.
Maintains accurate files & records of all sales, providing a full audit trail for asset, accounts, tax & fiscal purposes.
Maintains pricing databases & updates relevant scorecard info. Provides monthly Revenue reports and provides analytical support to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
Provide input to monthly scorecards and annual reports for assets
Provide support on pricing analysis inc maintenance of historical data to assist in oil allocation and HCA systems.
Responsible for the coordination and issue of both weekly and monthly transaction summaries to Planning, Treasury and Shareholders
Prepare annual Forecast of the Economic Environment (FEE) and SEC pricing.
Prepare monthly actuals, reforecasting data on a monthly basis.
Prepare annual reports and presentations as may be required for management, Partners and System Users.
Provide out of office cover during weekdays and weekends as required
Education Attainment & Accreditation
Industry relevant Honors Degree or previous relevant oil & gas experience, preferably in either an accounting, commercial or finance background.
Professional skills & Experience
Previous oil & gas experience in crude oil supply operations.
Knowledge of crude oil & gas sales processes and nomenclature. Understanding of shipping, finance, & cargo documentation is beneficial. A high degree of competence in the design and use of Excel spreadsheet applications is required.
Good analytical, arithmetical, accounting and computing skills.
