Major Responsibilities

  • Reporting to Head of Customer Business Unit (BU)
  • Responsible for technical organization of programs and activities according mission and goals of European Marketing Sales and Solutions Department
  • Working on regional strategies and developing new business opportunities in close alignment with Head of Customer Business Unit and Sales Director
  • Support strategic direction of the company and the BU
  • Developing and managing of long-term goals for each program in the BU
  • Establish an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Functional management of cross-functional teams and responsibilities to ensure program acquisition and delivery on schedule and within budget
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment (ROI) and coordinate / delegate cross-project initiatives
  • Oversee multiple project teams and ensure goals are met in areas such as customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance
  • Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved
  • Meeting and alignment with stakeholders for communication and transparency regarding project issues / decision on services
  • Generating accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout all disciplines and its life cycle

Major Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business or Engineering, ideally major in automotive or electronic engineering, computer science, etc., MBA is a plus;
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in automotive industry as Project or Program Manager at automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier
  • Proven stakeholder management skills - internal and external
  • Proven experience managing teams
  • Proactive and collaborative approach towards problem solving
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Ability to analyze program risks
  • Familiar with the IATF16949, such as APQP, PPAP, 8D etc.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English and German. Other languages are an advantage
  • Experience working with premium OEM (BMW, Daimler or Audi)
  • PMP or similar certification is preferred
