Currently recruiting for a Technical Officer - Homologation Services for a large automotive client.
The role will involve:
Deliver certification for Client products.
Administration support for Homologation documentation through to certification
Cross functional working with sections/departments.
Cross functional working with other client entities and Homologation representatives.
Maintain with program delivery helping engineers to meet schedules.
Internal tasks set within the Technical officer’s team, Budget, data collection, and manage internal process.
Use of Clients systems:
EMAC database for Homologation document creation.
Documentation for markets which require their own format.
Liaise with test labs/authorities with sending/receipt of documents.
Use of electronic transfer systems to send and receive documents.
Monitor document dispatch and return, file electronically and hardcopy.
Onward distribution of documentation.
Cross functional working with sections/departments
Cross cultural working with other entities and Homologation representatives.
General admin duties and support within dept.
Manage internal processes making sure correct standards are followed
Previous homologation or related experience an advantage.
Roles which were process driven with attention to detail.
Bias towards technical clerk rather than secretarial.
Good organisation skills, attention to detail and flexible.
Ability to manage time and work to deadlines
Ability to work within a team environment with minimum supervision.
