Morson East Anglia are pleased to be working in conjunction with Europes leading provider of specialist crew transfer vessels to the Offshore Wind Power industry.

The Company is currently recruiting for a Technical Superintendent for their base on the East Coast.

Reporting directly to the Technical Manager you will:
Work in accordance with the Companys maintenance system, ensuring correction of any technical deficiencies.
Ensure adequate instruction and coaching of Crew members with regards to _On board_ maintenance and administration and Vessel/Shore reporting.
Compile and monitor the budgets for projects.
Verify applicable technical rules and regulations and monitor changes.
Supervise and instruct along with the Technical Manager, Technical Managers and Mechanics, ensuring day to day support and advisory with respect to technical requirements of part of the Marine fleet.
Co-ordinate inspection of vessels, supervise repairs, retrofits, dry dockings in-conjunction with the Operations Manager.
Purchase technical items and technical 3rd party work, purchasing requirements to be followed as applicable in the Company and specified by Management.
Co-ordinate technical activities in close co-operation with relevant departments.
Ensure pro-active maintenance is carried out on board the vessels with Engineers and Site Managers.
Identify the root cause analysis for technical failures.
Communicate with Suppliers and Clients, i.e., site visits and vessel visits.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have preferred experience in the Maritime, Marine, Oil and Gas or Renewables sectors
Have excellent organisation and communication skills, both verbally and written.
You will be a Team player, able to prioritise your day to day workload and self manage colleagues to facilitate this role to the maximum.
Working knowledge of International Shipping Legislation and Regulations is essential.
You will be commercially astute and be able to report and administer economic and financial material
