Our client, an Oil & Gas Operator in Aberdeen is seeking a Technical Assistant for a contract role (Covering Maternity Leave) for an immediate start.

Position Overview
Provides technical and administrative support

Key Accountabilities/Duties

Create and maintain structured electronic and hard-copy records and maintain departmental diaries
Accessing and retrieving documentation and records from the Company's wider document management systems
Support team in formatting and structuring of documents and presentations
Administration and control of procedural changes/amendments
Create material, communication plans and arrange engagements to support effective communication
Utilise key processes, tools and systems to provide support to team as required (including but not limited to):
IMS, Synergi, E-works, Documents & Records Portal, Cimage etc

Education Attainment & Accreditation

Tertiary education, with appropriate numeracy and computer based skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Professional Skills & Experience
Reasonable experience of working within an oil and gas operator, service company or consultancy
Able to utilise, interrogate and produce reports from technical databases
Experience in the preparation of management information and management reports
Used to working with and has basic understanding of technical drawing and document content
Basic grasp of oil and gas terminology and commonly used acronyms
Excellent organisational and communication skills, ability to work on own initiative and with time constraints.
