Technical Administrator; Based in Glasgow; 12 month contract, £10.00 per hr paye

An opportunity has arisen for a technical administrator within our client's business in Glasgow.The post holder will take on the routine responsibilities detailed below on the Vehicles business and will report to the engineering manager (or deputy). When appropriate they may also be expected to also support another project.

Key responsibilities:
Attendance at weekly progress meetings and updating of minutes and actions (expedite actions). Updating the change log on associated work packages as required.
Monitoring costs from the timesheet app and a monthly reconciliation of costs with BIS. Add collated costs to tracking spreadsheets.
Attendance at internal reviews and updating of minutes and actions using the actions and meeting tracking tool. Monitoring of the actions and meeting tracking tool to expedite action closure.
Arranging design reviews, issuing of data packs for review and expediting the review process. Collating comments on documents for review. Generating minutes and actions. Expediting action closure.
Keeping the design file up-to-date. Updating marked up documents and storing in MIRA. Control issues of documents.
Assist in the creation of project metrics

Minimum 3 Highers of which Maths and English at a minimum B

Further education qualification in a relevant subject

Key Skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Applications (Word processing, and Spreadsheets)
