Job Description:

The role exists within a multi-disciplined team, and will be responsible for the design, documenting and implementation of a major new suite of systems for submarine systems.

Working on the design and development project for these submarines, which form part of a major new suite of systems for the submarine infrastructure.

The role will be responsible for creating the proposed solutions to integrate with systems over agreed interfaces, and validate and mature the designs.

You will be working across the full engineering lifecycle, on design, integration and delivering these projects, including liaising with selected external suppliers and other internal teams.

Working with and influencing key project stakeholders, and actively support knowledge sharing and exploitation of best practice during the engineering life cycle

* Working with requirements, developing and documenting designs
* Managing the design through appropriate peer review processes
* Implementing the designs, if necessary with selected suppliers

The Individual:

You should have as a minimum an undergraduate degree in Engineering or related scientific discipline, alongside experience of the following:
Strong and precise verbal and written (English) language skills.

Knowledge and experience of engineering life cycle principles is essential.

Knowledge and experience of software development processes.

Developing requirements and design decisions.

Working with and influencing key project stakeholders.

Actively support knowledge sharing and exploitation of best practice.
