Overall Department Direction
The Whole Boat Engineering Management Team (WB EMT) provides three core functions for our client's activity on a Submarine Project; Design Management, Integrated Logistic Support Elements, and Whole Boat Integration. The three facets are mutually dependant and ultimately provide the basis for what is the Whole Boat Support Integrator (WBSI).

Main Purpose of Role
The Systems Engineer (Assurance) role is primarily to provide support to the Assurance lead to deliver an independent assurance capability for our Client's activity on the project.

  • Responsibility for defining requirements against the Support Maturity Management Plan and MOD policy.
  • Defining the Verification and Validation activities in the satisfaction of requirements.
  • Providing an independent assurance capability against the Major System Technical Authority deliverables.
  • Assessing the 'technical goodness' of the analysis and products developed.

Additional

Due to the sensitive nature of the product all applicants must have worked within the Defence / Military industry within the last 12 months or be capable of obtaining Security Clearance (SC level minimum).
